Mikkeller - Hop Bomb Challenge 2011 6.3%

Taste: Wild!!! Tastes like scrumping at a hop farm.... Rubbing your body with the oily hop flowers. Yet, the taste is pretty well rounded and mellow. Buttery almost. A magic brew.

Appearance: orange copper.

Would you buy 2? I'd love to. I think swiped the last one?

Would you buy 4? Of course

Rating (out of 7): 6****** I'm excited about drinking the rest of this.

Oakham Ales - Green Devil IPA 6%

Taste: Hoptasia! Tropical fruit blast followed by the feeling of absolute dryness. I'm enjoying this. A palette cleansing ale.

Appearance: straw clouds. Great green man/devil on bottle.

Would you buy 2? Yes!

Would you buy 4? I'll do it!

Rating (out of 7): 6****** I love hop

Stone Brewing Co. - Ruination IPA 3.7%

Taste: This smells like my heaven. Oh yeah! It tastes incredible! So much hoppy flavour and at a strength which would allow you to drink this from am to pm.

Appearance: Yellow. It's sticky, like hop flower sap. I think they just put hops in a liquidizer. The devil on the bottle is a nice touch at this time of year.

Would you buy 2? I wish. This was the last in the shop.

Would you buy 4? If I can find them, I'll buy them.

Rating (out of 7): 6****** Incredible!

Saltaire Brewery - Cascade Pale Ale 4.8%

Taste: Phew. That's pretty nice. Cascade to the rescue. Like a stroll through the pine forests at the foothills of the Brecon Beacons. It's damp and historical. But it's easy to get lost and be shot by a big eared grouse hunter.

Appearance: Amber Teddy eyes.

Would you buy 2? I'd be able to sink two.

Would you buy 4? Again. I'd take them on I'd they we're purchased for me.

Rating (out of 7): 4**** it's nice.

Dark Star - Six Hop 6.5%

Taste: Yum! Sweet piney hops! It's not a bitter overload. It's massively tasty! Lemon zested pine needles.

Appearance: It's dark in here. But I'd say, honey.

Would you buy 2? Yes. And drink them both.

Would you buy 4? Yes. For multiple nights.

Rating (out of 7): 6****** grapefruitasia.

Odell Brewing Co. - St. Lupulin Extra Pale Ale 6.5%

Taste: Oh.... It's not all I dreamed. Yeast-Crust top end. And nice alcoholic lows. The mids are hard to tune in. Dried yeast petals? Or pine cone sap. It's growing on me now that the alcohol has taken hold.

Appearance: Orange Autumn. Great hoppy legend on the bottle.

Would you buy 2? Yeah! Maybe.

Would you buy 4? I could. By mistake. Their labels are all quite similar.

Rating (out of 7): 5***** it's quite obviously delicious and interesting, I'm just spoilt.
