Magic Rock Brewing - Cannonball 7.4%

Taste: Smells really hoppy! Ouch! So hoppy, it stings my tongue. So many hops. It feels like I'll never know moisture again. It has less of the sweetness of the stronger 'Human Cannonball'. It's delicious none the less.

Appearance: Weak tea. Cool bottle art as usual.

Would you buy 2? I would. But I'd be searching the shelf for Human Canonball.

Would you buy 4? It could be done,

Rating (out of 7): 5***** a fruity, hoppy pleasure gulp.

Magic Rock Brewing Co. - High Wire 5.5%

Taste: Hop smack! Right in my face. Some kind of fruitiness there too. It feels creamy in my mouth, but I'm tasting and reviewing a rich pasta sauce at the same time as this. This is pretty wild stuff.

Appearance: Bright eyes, burning like fire. Candylion bottle.

Would you buy 2? Yes. I'd have two. Life's to short not to.

Would you buy 4? Although I want four, clearly. As a man who lives in a house. I can clearly see that the grapefruit build-up in your body would start to reach dangerous levels. So let's leave it.

Rating (out of 7): 5***** progressive beer. More magic from the rock.

Magic Rock Brewing - Human Canonball 9.2%

Taste: Mmm syrupy. An awesome mouth-feel. It tastes like a grapefruit stuffed to the puff with hops. Dear god. This is so nice. Doesn't taste as strong as it is. Can you tell that I want to stop writing this so I can enjoy it?!

Appearance: Wildly cool looking bottle. Ale looks delicious.

Would you buy 2? I will hunt them down and destroy them.

Would you buy 4? If I see one. It's bought. No Human Canonballs are safe.

Rating (out of 7): 6****** Unbelievable. It might even be nicer than Magic Rock - Rapture which won beer of the month.

Magic Rock Brewing - Rapture 4.6%

Taste: Nice! Smells of Cherry and Hops. Reminiscent of some sort of delicious pie. Very hoppy, it's a surprisingly strong taste for not that heavy a beer. It's like walking though a pine forest on a hot day, all the sap is dripping from the buds into your hair and mouth. Soon, the ants will be there...

Appearance: Artwork reminds me of Pete Fowler's work. Nice coloured brown too. I like that the bottle blurb has promised to "take me to heaven and back". And on the front, the odd saying from those T-Shirts from Thailand; 'Same Same but different' (kind of).

Would you buy 2? Yes! I think this has to be one of the tastiest ales in the ABV to flavour ratio!

Would you buy 4? Things are looking up for our livers. Hooray!

Rating (out of 7): 6****** A high accolade!
